How to Descale your Pump...
Lay-Z-Spa / Coleman AirJet Pump Descaler - Guidance for Operation
Remove Pump from Spa
1. Power off the pump and disconnect from electricity supply
2. Remove the filter housing from inside the spa
3. Using the caps supplied with your spa, cover the (B+C) flow and return outlets inside of the spa
(If these have been misplaced, plastic bags and rubber bands can be used as an alternative)
4. Disconnect the pump from the spa and move to a clear working area
5. Using the screw on cap supplied with your spa, cap off the AirJet (A) inlet on the outside of the spa
(If misplaced, use a clean rag to block up the pipe, cover with a plastic bag and secure with a rubber band)
Inspect and Backwash
6. Inspect the rubber washer within the (B+C) water connection nuts. If they look grey and perished, a replacement set has
been included with the kit. To fit, undo the two screws, swap the washer and reassemble
